    Re: ID this fish

Those in your first photo appear to be some sort of Oreochromis tilapia. The ones raised in farms for food, and which sometimes make their way into LFS are often hybrids between the Nile Tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus) and Mozambique Tilapia (Oreochromis mossambicus).

The one in your second photo is a Zebra Tilapia (Heterotilapia buttikoferi). You'll also find it listed under the old name of Tilapia buttikoferi.

I'm not sure about the size of your aquarium, but do take note that these have the potential to grow to quite large sizes, are messy feeders, and can become aggressive towards one another. On the other hand, they are undemanding and not too fussy with regards to feeding and water parameters, are quite intelligent, and can learn to recognise their owners.
    Small is beautiful.

Pseudogobiopsis, thank you for your replies.

For food? when they grow bigger can stir fry, haha just joking.

Just bought a 20" new fish tank, their size is still small so should be able to tahan first.

    Are they cichild?
