problem with nano tank

hi there,i just set up my first marine tank,but problem arise d,
i use a power head from nirox for the tank,6 gal,
the problem is the powerhead interfere with my monitor,i place the tank by on my desk by the monitor,and when the powerhead switch on the monitor screen go berserk

pls advice me wat to do?but pls dun tell me to put it away from my monitor,limited space

you can try doing this.
dump the powerhead and get an external canister filter.
you can just have wool in the canister. the output from the canister would do the work of circulating the water in your tank and would not interfere with your monitor.

anyone else has any other ideas?

Change to a LCD monitor.

Magnetic fields and CRT monitors don't mix. One solution I can think of that may work is to have a metal sheet between the powerhead and the monitor. That will be an eyesore though.

change to canister???i wish to my fren, my tank is only 6 gallon and effective is around 4 gallon,a canister???then the fish will be having stormy time inside this tank,btw financially tight at this moment,still a student,

and LCD screen is out of my mind,too broke to get one,hahahaha

i will try out the metal sheet,but is there any other choice?
