    Dear all,
a reminder to take care when Cleaning the glass type inlet and outlet pipes. I used too much force ( not much by my standard), snapped the glass tube and cut 3 fingers. Can see bone!! Now at clinic stitching.
Take precautions. These lily pipes are damn fragile. Don't end up like me.

    Heal up soon!

Moving forward, if you still want to use lily pipes... use acrylic ones instead, no breakage issues.

Re: Becareful when using glass inlet and outlets

Have a speedy recovery. I've broken some glassware in a similar way before. My solution was to "lubricate" the glass & tube with Vaseline. This allows one to slip the tube in without the need for hot water to soften the tubes. Vaseline also allows the tube be pulled out safely.

Take care bro. Hobby is still hobby, safety is more important. Acrylic is stronger than glass but if you are v strong can still break and cut your hands. There is stainless steel option.

Re: Becareful when using glass inlet and outlets

My goodness. Reminded me of when I recently tried to force a pipe into my nano 2211 eheim and ANS glass inlet/outlet. Thank God nothing happened. And yea speedy recovery. Sounds like it hurt a lot man.... Anyway I prefer now to use steel inlet outlet. If I have more money I will also change my nano into stainless steel too.
