    the moss in my tank is either dying off or never grow,i duno why,cos i have 3.8 watt per gallon on my 2 feet tank. DIY co2,i got very nice of riccia which bubbling a lot,amazon sword and rotala which grow extremely fast.i use tetra florapride as fertiliser.

    can anyone tell me why?what shall i do to increase the grow or at least make them survie???
    12g planted tank
    22g low ligh planted discus tank
    4g fish only marine tank
    never say never to start a new tank....if got enough money

    Temperature is the key. With 3.8wpg, your temperature might not be cool enough. How low is your temp?

    wat temperature shall it be actually?

    below 26c!more than that ,moss will not grow,!try using some fan

    29 degrees is indeed too high. Try to keep it within 24- 28 degrees with a cooler fan or a chiller.

    thanx guy,
    but using a fan is not my option,limited budget to buy the cooling fan for aquarium, is so exensive

    Fan is around $S15 bucks. Alternatively you can rip of old computers but you have to power it thru a PSU (from old computer again)

    try investing a fan, it really works for me! few mths back, i been failing to achieve good result for my mosses. til i invested a fan where my temp maintain at around 25.5-26 degree, now my whole tank covered with healthy looking mosses. remember low temp promote better growth for plants.

    DIY a fan system then. It's really much better and cheaper than getting those commercial fans

    tell u all something,i did a stupid thing before,i strip the fan from an old pc,use a direct connection from the powerpoint,n the fan screw up.hahaha.the smoke smell good.

    so can anyone tell me how to do connect the fan?
    i still got a few if the computer fans.whta shall i use to conect it?
    i m not good with electrical stuff.
