Hummmm...nobody using Digital pH test pen? Anyway, I have seen Eco brand and claim it is local made. Is this good?
BTW, is digital ph test pen necessary? Or perfer to use chemical type?
Thinking of getting a good digital pH test pen. I have come across few brands and one of them is something like"Milwaukee" model pH52 selling at Petmart. Have anyone tried this pH test pen before? Please advise if this is good? Thanks.
If possible, please advise any other brand/model that is better. Thanks and have a happy holiday.

ph pen is convenient to use and provides instant readings. think it shows reading up to 0.1ph resolution. however, you’ll need to calibrate the probe periodically to maintain accuracy in the readings. and the probe requires replacement periodically (2-3 years?)
chemical ph tester is more troublesome to use but it is cheap compared to ph pen. if you need to check ph frequently, a ph pen is recommended. else chemical ph tester does the job.
Thanks tawauboy,
I will see how frequent I will do the pH measurement. I think for now where I need to monitor the water condition closely, I may need it more. But, may need it less when everything stablize. However, for the chemical type I find difficulty especially reading the 6.4 and 6.8 pH reading; the colours are so close.
May hunt for a cheaper test pen below $40 range. Wondering where selling these test pen from Hanna? Heard this brand is quite reliable. Any advise please? Thanks.

since you have trouble reading the colours, it would be better if you get a ph pen. try checking with reputable lfs for ph test pens.
might be tough to search for a ph test pen below $50/ anyway good luck in your search.
i using Milwaukee PH 600. hmmm, i don't know is it good. because i still unable to find the solution for calibration. There sell the PH pen but didnt sell soultion.
The meter need 1 min to give stable result. I don't know is it good or not. + - 0.1
i am sure that you’ll be able to find ph calibration solution. you’ll need at least 2 standard solutions. try petmart.
I have a Milwaukee PH600 too. It reads slow when the probe is dirty. Clean the probe with tap water. Ensure that you store the unit with the damp sponge (wet with PH4 buffer calibration solution).
Hanna's PHep water proof unit are more reliable but all PH meter reader's probe should be clean and store correctly. Do not use distill water for storing.
Hi, I used an Eco PH test pen, I found it is good.
