    Hi all,

Towards the end of the year, I've finally found some time to finish gathering the items for my new setup (cabinet, tank, hardscape etc.)
This will be a tank with CO2 injection, mid-high light, fan-cooled. Running with an Eheim Ecco Pro 130 (with lily pipes) and OF skimmer.
Just finished the hardscape today, shall let it set-in for a day or two, and see if my itchy fingers set in and decide to change the arrangement/add things.

For plants, I have shortlisted the below:
various buceps (to be placed on the rocks)
nana. petite (to be placed left and right where driftwood touches the base)
many mini java ferns (to be tied to the wood at various parts and rocks crevices)

Currently, i feel that the left side is too empty, no idea what to do with it. May want to do a Monte Carlo or Dwarf Hairgrass carpet.
    <brainstorming in process>
    Comments/suggestions are welcomed!

    Very nice hardscape.
Just my thoughts that since you got a "wood" at the left side so low(almost touching the ground), planting carpet looks wierd. Rather I would go for cosmetic sand around that area while the center is carpet.

Yeap. Having a monte carlo carpet would not be as nice as cosmetic sand. Nice wood you have got there. Must have searched for pretty long.

Thanks! i was thinking of planting some rotala bonsai and s.repens at the area between the 2 driftwoods (on the left) transiting to a carpet. I'll do a simple illustration later on when i have some time.

Thanks! i used 3 pieces of driftwood in this scape. particularly love the one that hugs the rocks on the right! took me a 1-2 months to come up with this #thepoisonisdeep!
Using sand is one option, but i would need to make the driftwoods look LUSH for the scape to go well with sand (something im not very confident at this point of time, can't visualise it yet haha) *staresharder

I think a huge bush of narrow leaf ferns would look good coming out of the wood/rocks area, along with your buceps...

that is a good suggestion! I think it would match the other plants I've chosen in my layout (mostly short-oval-shaped leafy plants).

my advice will be MC for carpet plant...
Marsilea hirsuta will grow big and tall if you did not care for it properly and grows very very wild!..
