which moss better for carpet

Hello, another newbie question. I would like to grow some foreground carpet for a iwagumi tank. I am thinking should I use java moss or xmas moss? Which one do you guys think would look better for carpeting (I know xmas moss is better for wall) and which one is easier to grow?

Java moss grows abit faster but tends to exhibit a more random/stringy growth pattern.

Christmass moss grows abit slower but the fronds do tend to grow out in a more orderly and consistent fashion.

Both mosses can work, just depends on what frond shape you prefer and how well you regularly trim them into shape.
