Hi all, i need lots of Rotala sp. Green. Please let me know if you are aware of any LFS selling this. It appears that most LFS do not.

    Thanks!

You need to get LFS to order for you from Oriental. Got Kingfisher to order some for me last time.

    rotala

Coincidentally, previously my friend asked Kingfisher to order for him lots of rotala green and ended up taking some unidentifiable plants. The id number given to the shop was from the oriental sample book and he was sure he was not wrong.

As he had made order, he didn't want to argue much and just took it but never put them in his tank.

the fishshop next to NA got some. not sure if the amount is enough for you. i got a few stalks from there.

one thing bothing me now is my rotala green seems growing crawing in my tank which looks quite messy. not upward to form a bush...

my light is abit high though...

    rotala

hi liuhao, thanks for your info

I also notice that some rotala green grows low and crawling. My existing ones are high risers and in fact, i quite like those "crawling" type. Check out sam yick, marine parade and you will be mesmerised! They have a mould of crawling red and greed rotala!

I guess something to do with the light intensity. Anyone has any thoughts?

I believe the JE LFS has some pots. I saw the rotala green yesterday.
I was also wondering how to make the plant crawl. I bought some pots for Golfmad some months back and some of the stalks were crawling even though they are not exposed to strong light, as compared to those stalks that stood tall. He has since thrown out all of them.
