Hi anyone knows of any place where they can custom bend metal rods? I want to prop my lighting higher. Unfortunately I cannot have a hanging one.

Can't help with custom bending. But just a suggestion; you might have more luck getting a custom made acrylic stand.

If you want to keep it simple, you can get aluminum rods of that diameter from Art Friend (there is one at Clementi). I think it should be about $4-$6 per meter.
Aluminum is soft enough to bend it yourself for a slightly higher stand.

    Re: Custom light fixture legs

you can diy with ~2mm thick stainless steel wire (can get from hardware shop) and bend it using plier into a holder shape. But make sure it can support the weight of your light.

below is my prototype for light elevator

Which type of wire do you use to do the stand. Dont think aluminum wire can take the load of the light

    Re: Custom light fixture legs

Sorry for the late reply. I bought some metal rods from hardware shop but then realized my lightning legs cannot be removed. Can only extend, unless I take apart the lightest.

Ended up up I custom made an acrylic set at Dama in ubi for around $40. Laser cut and glued.
