    Hi all,

Does anyone know what the plant in my tank is? When I first bought it it looked like an underwater palm tree - long stem and bushy top. It never grew very well at the beginning but was always surviving without any melt. After a couple of months it really began to take off and propagate and grow.

    Unknown Plant A.jpg

Tank is a dirted tank with low light and very minimal dosing.
Any possible answers would be very much appreciated.

    Thanks!

It seems to be a species of Hygrophila, though not sure which exact type.

I guess you probably bought it from the same place sixhunter got his ones from... check out his discussion/ID thread posted recently:

    Re: Plant ID!

It does seem to be a hygro (siamensis in particular), thank you for the replies. Now I have to figure out whether to leave it at the mid front or move it away heh.
