Sorry for stupid question, can crayfish survive in full depth of water? Your crayfish look really cool. How much you brought from seaview, i saw a couple of blue clayfish, the colour not as bright as yours?
Here's Some photo of my Blue Crayfish which i bought from Seaview. Always thought it was a female, After 4 Molts, its a male~
It started off with baby blue and turned into blue, but after the 3rd molt it became baby blue again. So glad that the shell hardened and became blue again. Now it's around 5 inches.

Yes definitely, i think full depth of water is recommended too. not an expert, started few months back only. I bought it for $4.80, it used to be very light blue too.Originally Posted by Dscheng

Occasionally, I would have some trimmings to give away in exchange for a can of Milk Coffee. PM me to deal.
I assume that the outline at the claws will determine it will be a male as red claw male usually have a distinctive red patch or their claw.
For this blue one, i assume that they are white. The last picture do show the transparent part on the claw.
I'm still learning how to determine the gender, the only way i know now is waiting it to grow and see if they have that patch.

Yea somehow mine grow really fast. I fed it the pellet food i bought from seaview. Seaview sell them at $4.80 all the while , other places sell them a little more ex?

I saw at seaview, dont have blue small clayfish. All big big size one. Maybe weekend going to dropby C328.
It's at the most back the bottom tanks. got 4 tanks.

They will try very method to climb out the tank, mine climbed out before. So i covered the top with egg crates

Ya !! I saw it all the way behind. Together with all the clay fish, red, blue and normal type. BTW seaview still selling 4.80

My blue got one time, escape out from my tank and actually i found it at my bathroom.. suprisely it can survive without for one night lolz.
nice blue cray there. mine very big alr. haha will update soon. That orange one is a procambarus clarkii while the blue is a cherax quadricarinatus.
