    Re: OF glass bubble counter

Is it this type of bubble counter?

If so, then the top cap is probably just screwed on abit too tight, you'll have to carefully unscrew it (don't break the glass or plastic)... maybe try wrapping a rubber band around the cap to increase friction, might help in opening it.

With water? Yes, it can be used with water in the bubble counter.

Unless you mean without water, then probably also can (or just remove the bubble counter and connect the Co2 hose directly to the needle valve)... but just that you wouldn't see any bubbles and there'll be no visible indication of the injection rate, have to be careful if there are livestock in the tank, as you could be injecting very high amounts of Co2 without knowing it.

I guess its not a good idea to use it without water then. Just have to not use the system until its fixed.

Should be replaceable, by right you should actually be able to unscrew the bubble counter from the needle valve, they are all supposed to be separate parts.
