Jebo MH

Anybody using this brand of MH, comes with a 150 watts bulb.
any comments?

JEBO is a China brand, i think it is not that realiable if compared to AquaMedic, Bioplast, Gieseman and the other German brand.

german brand will cost you roughly at 2k for your mh thats what i heard from others.

Go to petmart and ask For MH previously was quoted $350 for a single MH pretty reasonable.

I believe Gan is also selling MH with the price around the region of $350. Can call him up to check whether he has stock.

Just for info
was is penang recently, the Jebo MH cost around $180 b4 discount.
JBL and bioplast ph controller about $400 b4 discount
JBL flora2 CO2 system about $280 b4 discount.

the price of the MH of the Jebo sounds tempting.....it would be better if the ballast and ignitor is in a different housing from the bulb housing. next you need to check the kind of MH bulb the brand is using....best to have the pin type on both ends of it as these are one of the most common type.

other good consideration is nichi from taiwan...that is the one that ben of petmart and gan is selling........next would be oceanfree from yihu.......if you must get the german ones, consider the bioplast.....

If you do get the really slim and good looking ones, remember to ask the golden question......if the ballast and/or ignitor goes kaputs, is the replacement part attainable from the open market and price

Not too sure about the rating, but it comes with a 150 watts bulb. the boss says it's for planted tanks.

for the arcidia ones, yihu is backing it up and if I remember correctly, its using the standard ballast and ignitor.
