sure can, you can get seneye, can even use your phone to monitor

Just wondering if its feasible to do so?
Maybe digital water ph/co2/nitrates levels monitors are damn expensive, but thermometers? My Pc is on usually for like 24/7 so maybe i can connect up a thermometer to it via something (dunno wat) thus i can have the readings online as well as knowing any extreme highs i should take note of (not at home during the day).
Maybe also this is like an overkill for a noob like me. But dunno why, been thinking of "projects" for my tank like all the time.....![]()

If you want to go all the way, there is a system called Apex Neptune.
Not cheap ~ S$900+ but its super fancy. Its popular in marine fish use but definitely applicable for freshwater as well.
Measures pH & temperature. Able to switch things on & off via a simple program. For example :
- Shut off CO2 regulator when pH reaches let's say 6.2.
- Switch on/off lights at specific time. For some brands, able to integrate to program ramp up / ramp down
- If using a DC pump, you can slow down or shut off the pump when feeding
- Connect to auto feeder
- Auto top up your water when levels are low
- Able to send email/SMS when something is not right
- Web interface to monitor stuff. Able to chart historical graphs
