    Hi all,

This is my first attempt on planted 2FT tank. Really must give credit to UA ! He provide a lot of information and places to source for reasonable deal.
I spend the whole sat afternoon, doing the setup, it is fun and actually i cut myself on the stupid broken lily pipe. But it is a fun experience.
Love to see the plant with pearling effect !!

It's been like this for years in the aquarium industry worldwide, they mix terrestrial plants in to make a quick buck. Pull out those plants and replace them something else while the tank is still settling in. Check websites like tropica to see what type of plants you like and go search for it.

Happy with your Co2 diffuser position?
Maybe you should place it where the current is pushing the bubbles down.

Tks for the advice ! That is the hardest part, not easily to plant with full water. Any recommended plant for background? Hopefully with some pic of the plant, wait i buy wrongly haha.

Depend on your preference, you can have a bunch of stem plants or a few rosette plants or a piece of wood with ferns, moss, anubias etc. Do look at some aquascapes to decide.

Remove the non aquatic plant, don't worry, I never throw away lol. I plotted into another place. Make use of my leftover soil.

Just a suggestion, it will be better to place the outlet direction, from left to right, rather than the current, back to front, for better flow. check out other previous threads, there will also be guides to the placement of the CO2 diffuser. or else much of your CO2 is wasted.

Haha, i think is OF. I am so blur. I order all from GC during the last year promotion. As for the Co2 diffuser, currently i put directly below the outlet lily pipe, So which direction is the best?

No problem. Becareful if you choose to use this method co2 dissolve increased by a lot but may cause gas accumulation in the canister filter. I would recommend leave some gap between the inlet and the diffuser.
