    Hi all,

    Is this two shrimp are the same?? Saw at C328, yamato shrimp cost like 10pcs for $9.. Quite huge ! Good for algae eater right?

    personally, i don't find them efficient against algae..

    for me, nerite snails and otos only..

    yamato, they actually will snatch food, scavengers for carcass, killed those weaker/sick fauna.

    I have 4 nerite snails in my nano tank. It really help in the algae. But kinda slow, understand they are snails lolz .

    depend on what type of algae you are having. Shrimp will not work on green spot algae. Otos does not work on all algae beside brown algae.
