Honestly, it is difficult to judge wild fish. Judging is more likely done based on the form, ie. Any slight deformity etc. Nothing much. The objective of showing wild fish is probably to raise more awareness among the public of other betta besides the usual splendens that we see.
The upcoming Aquarama is a good chance to show your macrostoma through the Singapore Betta club, I think. You might want to contact the relevant club person-in-charge to see if it is possible for you to show your fish at the exhibition booth.
However, for delicate betta like macrostoma, IMO I think it's not the best option to do so, as moving them around creates unnecessary stress and there is even a possibility of them dying.
Currently keeping large predatory fish 🐟
