hi, i don't think AA has been successfully bred locally. Almost all available locally are wild caught. There are some F1 or captive bred AA in Germany and Taiwan....from what I know of but never come across any that has arrives to our shore. The AA season starts from July onwards. So by this time, those AAs that available locally should be already quite big. If u want smaller ones, u may have to wait till July 2015 and likely should be also wild caught ones. I also hope that there may be captive bred or F1 available this year but very unlikely. If you only want captive bred, then you may have to consider other wild strains such as Suriname or Santa Isabelle which have closest appearance to AA. There is a well known wild angelfish local breeder and for many years he is trying to captive bred AA but still unsuccessful. I really wish that you can be successful this year so that local hobbyists can enjoy rearing this majestic and beautiful fish, ALTUM ANGEL. Wild caught AA is quite challenging to rear, especially for newies.
