    Need help to ID the white stuff growing on the glass (circle in red) After i gotten rid of it, it will come back after a few days It's also growing on the rocks and substrate.

    5.3 US Gallon tank
    No fauna yet
    Aqua Soil Amazonia
    Flexi Mini LED light - Total photoperiod is 8hrs (4 in the morning + 4 at night)
    Pressurized CO2 1 bubble every 4 secs 24/7

    Water parameter:
    27.5C
    pH 6
    2dKH
    5dGH
    0 ammonia
    No other test kits

    Ferts:
    Brighty K 1 pump daily
    Brighty Special Light 1 pump every other day
    Flourish Excel 0.4ml daily
    Flourish Comprehensive 3x a week
    30% water change a week

    Looks like freshwater hydra? Probably hitchhiked into the tank with some plants.

    oh dear, use something like your tweezers and gently touch them if they shrivel up i guess should be what urban aquaria mentioned, hydra, and they can reproduce quite fast. they do easily detach themselves and float around your tank and reattach to plants, wood, rocks, everywhere hahaha. best eradicate them as soon as possible to prevent outbreaks hehe.

    Happened to stumble upon a thread - http://www.aquaticquotient.com/forum...highlight=mold, which is identical to mine.

    I assume it was the jelly on my 1-2 grow plant that caused it.

    odd , weird stuffs coming from tropica plants , i presume you use full 1-2 grow plants ?
