Cant afford a new eheim with priming, those go for 280 and above? Read some reviews on Dophin dying within a year so will avoid that brand. Need to get 1 by tomorrow.

Never heard this brand before. Looking at some online searches, i pass on the offer thanks
Using Eheim Ecco pro 200 for my 2FT. Really slient and good la. Rather you save up and invest on eheim.
I am using Shiruba and Fluval too for a couple of weeks. I have not encountered any problem yet.
I think the deciding factor would be the design and foot-print of the filter. Fluval uses their own 'washing-machine' hoses. Expansion from there would be a challenge, for example, if you want to fit third party accessories like skimmers or rain bars.

Occasionally, I would have some trimmings to give away in exchange for a can of Milk Coffee. PM me to deal.
So far I using sunsun canister 603b UV and 404B UV working fine, end of the day most canister is find working the only prob is whether you have the spare part to replace when it's spoilt

Thanks all! In the end i gotten a Atman DF-700 for a measly $78 LOL. But overpowered, now, as UA advised, i gg to get a flow tap to lower the flow. The current literally created a crater in my substrate even though the rainbar is hitting the water at a 30-40 degree angle.
an alternative is to extend the rainbar or drill larger holes or more holes
Maru, please mind the sms usage. Thanks!

Ops. My apologies. Will knock it into my head.
i have had shiruba dying after a year. invest in eheim.
Think an eheim filter would be recommended by most. I went to seaview recently and happen to see a new shiruba 312 being inspected... not that all fantastic for the media space. I am glad I stick with eheim.
Eheim 2215 and Eheim 2217's available on the market place right now! You should go take a look!
Cheers,
JJ
Yeah, the 2215 is a great filter ! I'm using it myself, sponsored by a friend
Also, eheim lasts for ages...
