Cant find good offers for eheim on mktplace (or usually i am too late)

    Shld i get a Shiruba 303/Jebao 503/ Fluval 105 or 206 ?

Cant afford a new eheim with priming, those go for 280 and above? Read some reviews on Dophin dying within a year so will avoid that brand. Need to get 1 by tomorrow.

    Thanks experts!

I am using Shiruba and Fluval too for a couple of weeks. I have not encountered any problem yet.

I think the deciding factor would be the design and foot-print of the filter. Fluval uses their own 'washing-machine' hoses. Expansion from there would be a challenge, for example, if you want to fit third party accessories like skimmers or rain bars.

So far I using sunsun canister 603b UV and 404B UV working fine, end of the day most canister is find working the only prob is whether you have the spare part to replace when it's spoilt

Thanks all! In the end i gotten a Atman DF-700 for a measly $78 LOL. But overpowered, now, as UA advised, i gg to get a flow tap to lower the flow. The current literally created a crater in my substrate even though the rainbar is hitting the water at a 30-40 degree angle.

an alternative is to extend the rainbar or drill larger holes or more holes

Think an eheim filter would be recommended by most. I went to seaview recently and happen to see a new shiruba 312 being inspected... not that all fantastic for the media space. I am glad I stick with eheim.
