    This is my journey on having a thriving 12g Fish with Planted Nano Tank.

    Hope that I'll be able to pour in all my knowledge in having a successful

    freshwater aquarium and also impart my experience to other fellow hobbyist.

    I will try my best to post the latest updates from my humble Nano Tank.

    Welcome to AQ.
    The plant in the middle is not suitable for nano set up,the plant is from echinodorous sword genus.
    They are grow up to 20'.

    Interesting setup... based on the steel pipes i assume you've converted it to using a canister filter? Rather than the stock hang-on filter that came with the Fluval Edge?

    I've always wondered about oxygen exchange in Fluval Edge tanks, the exposed water surface area is quite small so i guess you'd probably have to create extra water movement in the small gap opening on top to maintain good oxygenation (i notice you use a small powerhead on the left side to circulate water towards the surface).
