My newly bought bogwood excrete slime all over the wood itself one day after I put into the tank. The slime is thick and whitish in color. I took it out and scrub away the slime before putting it back into the tank. After one day, the slime came back.

My bogwood is the more expensive branchy type. Not the dark brown log type.

Is the slime going to clear after a few more scrubbing?

Anyone has experience this before? Thank you.

Normal, fungus, otos and shrimps will clean it. You can also boil or clorox it to make it sterile. Look yucky but nothing to be worry about.
