    Hi,

    Have an over a month old, 3 & 1/2 feet set-up.

The majority of my initial batch of 25 cardinals are doing ok, but I've noticed that a few of them are not eating.
As they grow thinner by the day, & then really skinny & die (due to starvation I think).
Have only 1 more cardinal that I have observed to be not eating.
It will die soon I think.
The rest of them are eating fine, as i c see growth & a full stomach.

Fortunately, the rest of my batch are ok.

Is this normal? I know not all will survive transportation, but is this expected?

    Am feeding them:
    Ocean free Super miniture
& alternate with Ocean free super colour (flakes)

twice a day, sometimes 3 times.
    i should think its sufficient.
most of the other fishes are eating & have full stomachs, just these few, er... ok left this 1 cardinal, who is getting skinner everyday.

    Internal parasites?

Try isolating them in another tank and feeding them. If they don't eat... something's definately wrong with them.

this particular one does not seem like it has a clue what to do when its feeding time, just swims around, while the rest are going for the food. Although it swims around faster due to the excitement from the other fishes during feeding, it just swims faster here & there, instead of towards the food.

its tail fin looks like its bitten a bit though.

    Should I try live food?
