Tie rock at the bottom of your wood and buried on the soil/sand. Depending on the wood size it could take a month or more
I know that some bogwood will need to be anchored down with a piece of rock or something for a while before it stays down. Has anyone encounter bogwood that has a high buoyancy that it never sink? My bogwood was anchored down for 2 weeks and the buoyancy is still high. Any other method to get it lose its buoyancy? Thanks.

I remember someone said something about boiling. But if your bogwood is too big, you might need this:

Some say boil, but I think it's mostly soaking and waiting for the wood to be water logged.... of course getting wife permission to use her large stainless steel pot to boil is another problem by itself.
I do not own a big enough cauldron to boil it. I just have to wait it out for it to sink.
