I think it's a macro fert. Most I've seen use it together with the supplements and TE.

You mean with the usual PO4 and NO3 as well as TE?
Yeap.I don't know why they do it that way though... beats me why they don't just dose KNO3 and KH2PO4 straight.

It does not contain any nitrate or phosphate...I'll just treat it like traces even though it contains some K.

It's a micro with K and Mg. You use it with KNO3 and KH2PO4.

Ah seems we can try this with Tom's estimate method. However bad thing is that the percentage of the elements are not on the bottle itself.
Note - Period does not denote decimal.The product contains 17 elements: Fe(2+) : 1.200 ppm ; K : 7.000 ppm ; Mg : 900 ppm ; Mn : 400 ppm ; I : 200 ppm ; B : 80 ppm ; Cu, Mo, Zn, Li : 20 ppm ; Ni, Co, Al, Sn, F : 10 ppm ; V, Se : 5 ppm.
Geoffrey, thanks for the contents breakdown but that breakdown is for each 10ml?![]()
Let's take Fe, 1200ppm means every litre of Profito has 1200mg of Fe. Hence, 1.2mg for every 1ml. If you dose 10ml of Profito into a 100 litres tank, you get (10 X 1.2)/100 of Fe in your tank, 0.12ppm.
Thanks Geoffrey!!! Will try this out soon
Any comments on this fert compared to TMG? Mr Chan from NA told me this is much more concentrated than TMG, and it has overtaken the popularity over TMG is US.
All fertilisers are good if we use them correctly.
Geoffrey:
You told us before that the K in this fertiliser is very low. Based on their recommended 10ml per 100L of water, we are getting 0.7ppm K only. So we should be supplementing with extra K, right?
It looks like the contents is similar to JBL Ferropol. No N and P present.

I am using Profito at the moment. Just to share my view. I find that the dosage recommended is stronger than necessary. I find 1/3 of the recommended dosage works best.

Hmmmm so you are using 3.3ml per 100l? How about other macro ferts?
I think it depends on tank to tank.. and how often you are dosing. Recommendations are exactly that... recommendations.
I'm using it at recommended dose, but at once a week. (Recommendations state once every 2 weeks.)
Vincent - AQ is for everyone, but not for 'u' and 'mi'.
Why use punctuation? See what a difference it makes:A woman, without her man, is nothing.
A woman: without her, man is nothing.

For smaller (less than 150L), you may dose weekly at 4ml/100L.
Macros dosing are quite well established by now after much discussion and experimenting by hobbyist. Since you asked, I have low bio load and my dosage are:
NO3 (from KNO3) - 5~10 ppm
PO4 (from KH2PO4) - 0.8 ppm
K (from KNO3 + KSO4) - 15ppm
Mg (from MgSO4) - 2~3ppm
Ca (from coral chip) - 20~40ppm
trace - profito
I hope this helps.

For myself, I provide the rest of the K from KNO3 and KH2PO4.
