A question jus pop into my mind - If u use the same type of fan on two different size tank, will it achieve the same result? Will the smaller tank achieve a lower temp as compared to the larger tank? TIC tanks are in the same room at the same time.

i believe the smaller tank will achieve a lower temp, but doesn't maintain the temp longer than a larger tank, coz of the volume of water

hmmm.... cos i notice tt my 4ft and 1.5ft register the same temp of 27 using the same type of fan.... at first thought tt the profantac fan maybe an overkill for the 1.5ft tank but seems it wasn't so after all.....

With a fan, I believe there's only a minimum you can cool it to under the same atmospheric conditions. So that explains why both tank registered similar temperatures.

For further cooling, have to achieve using a chiller.
