Haven't updated the galleries since Nov. of '04, so thought it was time to do so since all the tanks have been torn town and set up again. There is a completely new tank in the mix, too. Hope y'all enjoy! (Click on links for albums featuring more photos for each tank).

    Office *new tank* ( http://www.goldfishparadise.com/album/gallery/album263 ):

    Guest room *divided tank* ( http://www.goldfishparadise.com/album/gallery/album264 ):

Yes, I maintain them all as they're in my home... As for sizes: living room 22, office 17, guest room 12 USG.

    Thanks for the feedback

It will be good to use plainer colored sand and rocks as they are competing for attention with the plants and fishes. And with colorful fishes swimming inside, you have not much of a focus anywhere.

Can't get much plainer than natural.... The rocks are all river stones. No artificial substrate. The contrast, in my opinion, adds depth and intrigue. The colorful fish are great, but the focus of the designs/layouts aren't on them. They're far too quick and hyper to be gazed at for too long.

Anyway, thanks for taking the time to provide your thoughts...

what lighting do you use for this?
btw, the red color plant that is at the corner...what plant is that? i am looking for some red that does not need much light.

Sorry for not answering the questions sooner.... been a bit busy....

I'm going to assume you're asking about the "first" tank (living room) in answering...

    Lighting: Coralife PC, 36watt (roughly 1.8watts/gallon), 12hrs./day.
Red plant: assuming it's the one on the left hand side... it's a Bi-Color Nasaea.

I think that covers all the questions... If I answered for the wrong tank, feel free to ask again.

    Thanks for looking!
