I'm trying to see is there anything better than this one currently I googled.

roughly $400 for a system. I tried filling up my 50litre shrimp tank using water from a PUR pitcher . unfortunately a quarter tank water change takes like 4 hours to complete.

How about this one.http://www.madpetz.com.sg//index.php...ucts_id=340400 gallon per day which is around 60 liter per hour. I am thinking of getting this one but need to find out the connection of both inlet and outlet to be able to connect to a garden hose.

hmm, madpetz version seems cheaper than purepro version

    both 400 gpd versions

100 gallon per day (but madpetz one takes 50 psi input, I'm not sure you can even hook it up to a garden hose) this one is like 15 liters in 1 hour, which is super slow. so you have to like put it on a timer or something and check back if the pail is full

the rest of purepro's offerings are 50gpd , so not worth considering.

so I think need to check

    a) replacement cycle of catridges and cost of catridges, I'm pretty sure the initial 1 time cost is negligible in comparison to that.
