How difficult to breed CRS? Whether 1ft Cube tank is okay. I know Cherry Shrimp is quite easy!

For CRS, how much is per piece?

The breeding is like for Cherry Shrimp but expensive piece.
For CRS price, it is depends on the Grade.
    e.g Grade C - about $8 , Grade B - $12

I breed the CRS in a 1ft tank. It's not even a cube tank, so your tank should have no problem. But before I bought the CRS, I've set up the tank to grow lots of moss, and it's pretty stable before I introduced the CRS.

$8 for Grade C is about the cheapest you can get from LFS. Is Kuni still selling to hobbist direct? Maybe you can cheaper for the C grade from him. A few weeks back, NA is selling 1 for $12, 5 for $50. Grade is somewhere at B standard.

Oh, nearly forgot, one of my friend just went to Mermaid last week, and told me they have quite a few tankfuls of CRS. There are a few different grades. Maybe you can go visit it to take a look first before you decide how much you want to spend.

    Thanks for your advice.
Someone said should start with Cherry Shrimp first to get more experience then CRS. And also someone said if you want the best looking shrimp then start with CRS, why wait? Where is Mermaid location and I would take a look these few days?

Thanks Bro for the advice. Now my 1ft it's 5 days old and would wait for few more days before adding some shrimp to test it.

Just went to Kingfisher this afternoon. They have some grade 'C' ones at $6 and 1 tank of grade 'S' ones at $65.
I've setup a nano tank 2 weeks back. now waiting for 1 more week before getting some grade 'C' or 'B' ones to test water. But had a bee, a tiger and 5 cherries in for 1 week, no casualities yet

Sorry, I do not have their exact address. It's at Geylang Lor 27, The street beside Aljunied MRT. Turning in from Sims Ave, the entrance of the street has that big 'pao', dim sum shop. It is on the right side of the street if u are facing the mrt station. Think they are close on Monday.
