Surface Skimmers for 4 feet tank

Hi, I have read about Ehiem, Ocean Free, Dake power driven surface skimmers. Has anyone try them in a 4 feet tank? Are they effective? Any other brand/model of surface skimmers that are effective for 4 feet tank?

Thanks. Previously, I thought surf clear may not be able to draw in biofilm from the far end of 4 feet tanks due to its size.

Placement of the surface skimmer can affect its overall efficiency... try positioning it at different areas to find the best spot (usually at the areas with less flow, where most of the oil film accumulates at).
