    With that substrate, it would be pretty hard to suggest many plants that can grow well in it. Maybe downoi in between the rocks?

    Maybe can place the front 3 rocks closer the the main rock and have them staggered to one another

    Downoi may be too big for this tank, sand quite a issue

    Made some changes, I move two front rocks nearer to main, stagger? Will update a pic soon

    Maybe can switch to finer grain sand? The substrate looks abit like those crispy rice cereal at the moment... perhaps due to the size and scale perception of the tank.

    With that kind of a substrate, you might want to use java ferns or other plants tied to wood or rocks. and probably get some more rocks to cover up the bases.

    keen eyes going on , yes i find the sand quite big grain too , its ans bright sand , its a recycle chocolate container from chinese new year , size is 14cm x 7 x 5cm

    indeed same tank , no plans to put any fish , maybe some moss ,might be thinking to make a terrarium instead since it has a lid , any suggestion?
