I also do top up my ANS brand bubble counter (the one you guys posted in the pictures) but I do so once every 2 months or so. My counter is doing 2BPS and it seems every 1.5 to 2 mths I would need to top up water. My other nano tank with the same counter is doing 1bubble per 4 seconds. It has been 1 month plus and I have not seen any evaporation yet. 99% of the water still there. Thus I concur with the hypothesis that the faster your BPS the faster the evaporation rate.
Just a side question, I would probably go for 2 CO2 tanks with 3 BPS each rather than blast so much through one since I would not get a good count anyway. Just a personal thought.
