Evaporation in Bubble Counters

If i am using water now...the bubble rate is almost impossible to see. With this currently, its in slow motion. I am still watching the level of liquid inside the chamber. At least not as quick evap with water.
but if you ask me the rate of bubble is not really significant to keep track already when you have to blast more then 5 per sec.

I also do top up my ANS brand bubble counter (the one you guys posted in the pictures) but I do so once every 2 months or so. My counter is doing 2BPS and it seems every 1.5 to 2 mths I would need to top up water. My other nano tank with the same counter is doing 1bubble per 4 seconds. It has been 1 month plus and I have not seen any evaporation yet. 99% of the water still there. Thus I concur with the hypothesis that the faster your BPS the faster the evaporation rate.

Just a side question, I would probably go for 2 CO2 tanks with 3 BPS each rather than blast so much through one since I would not get a good count anyway. Just a personal thought.

Looks good so far. Liquid remains. Though i have to increase my bubble flowrate. Its no longer feasible to count...hahah. Just watch the bubble go. but just feels good to see bubble in bubble counter than an empty counter..

slightly slower , the co2 bubble also take longer to pop

Weird... seem like you guys bubble counter will run dry.. mine had been hook up for almost 1 year.. but never encounter them evaporate before..

I got 5 bubble counter.. 2 of them are 2 bps.... and remaining 3 are 1 bps... I can see abit evaporated.. but less then 10%

That's quite slow, so evaporation not so fast too.

Haha.. no wonder I keep thinking how come mine difference..
