    Planning to plant Vallineria and Echinodorus Quadricostatus in a 2ft x 1ft x 1.5ft tank with DIY CO2. Probably no base fert, just liquid fert. Will 55 watts be sufficient?

    you might want to consider having a thin layer of base fert. Echinodorus and Vall. requires them

    light wise, should be okie.

    Hmmm...buy whole pack use a bit, very ex leh. I believe JBL is one of the cheaper ones right? How much is it? Or any other alternatives?
