    I'm looking to get one for a 2ft tank for a shrimpery...

    any brands that you WOULD recommend? I've seen the hailea one around at keong seong, anyone tried that? price?

    Benny has a micro chiller but I think he hasn't test it out yet

    If they are talking about the Teco micro chiller, it should be aroung $800, if I don't remember wrong.

    I used to own a 1/2 HP hailea and sold off due to slightly under power for my 6' tank with 150w x 3 MH. Bought 2nd hand 1 HP hailea since Apr 2004. Performance is very good, reasonably noise level in my big living room and the heat disperse quite acceptable in the living room also. I used to keep the 1/2 HP inside the cabinet with fan blowing hot out . with 1 HP is too big to fit in, so leave it outside.

    As for the price, hailea is cheaper.
