    Oh I overcame my algae problems. First there was blue-green algae, then there was hair algae, then there was hard algae, glass spot algae n stag horns.

    I adopted the below strategies -
    1- turn on lights at 3-4 hours then off twice each day,
    2- use small hose to suck up phosphates (shit, grimes, etc) from the soil level

    worked marvelously.
