    Hi bros

    Can anyone advice which brand of analogue thermometer is accurate? Because i was using a gex mini analogue glass thermometer and reading is 29c. Recently i bought a dymax one and reading is 25c... lolz ... i have a feeling the dymax one is off...

    Bought many years ago those those normal $1 type... so far so good and accurate...
    used it for many years already still good and accurate..
    it looks something like this...

    If you do not mind parting with a bit of money you can consider buying the analogue thermometer from GC or aquatic avenue - GUSH brand.
    Below $15 but very well made and also aesthetically pleasing.

    I tried to be a little cheapskate and went to buy the similarly styled ANS brand but the accuracy was way off (2degrees to be exact) and went back to change only to find that the inaccuracy was due to the poor design and materials. So the 2nd thermometer also was 2 degrees off. Well the saying goes, you get what you pay for haha

    Hi bros just bought a digital theromemter up aqua brand. Comparing with my gex anagloue therometer seems very close reading. Up aqua reads 25.4c gex reads 26c dymax reads 24c ... lolx i think gex is a pretty good and accurate anagloue therometer.

    Yes Gex product have never disappointed me. The aqua brand digital later will have water inside and algea.

    Hi bro the up aqua brand i bought is a external type. Only the probe in water. Ya lfs boss say those submersible ones spoilt easily recommend me external ones.
