You can connect into chiller now but just don't ON it as you cycling the water. The water will flow into your chiller and it is ok. Once cycled, then on your chiller.
Dont need to waste unnecessary electric bill.

any advice if i wanna put a better chiller for my 1ft cube tank? currently on AL30 which is really bad due to the temperature of late and it's been hovering betwen 25-26 degree..i want to upgrade to a better chiller, can anyone confirm if i need to have a better external filter to run one?
