Most of us here had try different kind of lighting setup. I am still considering whether to change my T8 lighting, or continue using it. T8 and T5 have ballast issue overtime (apart from bulb replacement), will you repair it or just buy a brand new lighting setup? LED lighting is good, but bulbs are not replaceable. So how long your light setup been working for you? And what type of lighting setup you prefer most?

T5 ballast every 2 year change, bulb every 9 months.

I have a 322 tank and got problem in growing plants even wisteria and e.tennellus and they just melt away.

Currently I am using hopar lights which is very high above the tank and I think it just cannot penetrate into the depth of the tank.

I am thinking of getting odysseus 4 tubes T5HO as the lightset can lay directly on the rim of the tank surface so it will be much nearer to the plants.

I am planning just to plant e.tennelus as foreground and pogostermon erectus behind so is the odysseus lights good enough or still need other types of lights.

Also do I still need to inject co2 for these plants and what other requirements I need to be successful.

4 tubes of t5h0 is more than enough for the e tennelus. If you have co2 it will grow fast with runners all over and it will cover your pogostermon erectus
in no time unless there is a separation or partition betwen those plants.
