    Hi,

    This is my first time using canister filter, can I know is it normal for canistor to produce low humming noise? It is not audiable when the cabinet is close. Thanks

    No it's not normal. The Atman 3335 I have is really quiet, I can only detect a very faint humming sound when I press my ear to the area where the motor is.

    Could there be air in your tank? There may be something stuck in the impeller chamber too. If all else fails, the LFS could help in a exchange.

    I agreed with squee. Mine also dun produce any audible sound with or without the cabinet door close.

    I actually placed the CO2 near to the filter intake. Maybe the noise is produced by co2. How do i remove the air from the filter?

    Finally found the fault. It actually caused by a rubber seal that ran out of place.
