Look nice.. but not easy right? Too bad, they are my shrimp enemy.. so cannot put guppy with my shrimplet

Actually not difficult to keep Endlers except that good female lines are hard to find in the market. Guppy and Endler alike are opportunistic feeders.

After many drops, I finally gotten a top sword male. This is a juvenile male, so the sword is not fully grown out, it will get more elongated as the fish mature.
This male will be chosen for selective breeding. I understand top sword is usually Y-link, am given the opportunity to verify this. I will breed this male with 2 females, one grey and the other blonde. Can't wait to see the outcome![]()
I'm breeding the blonde version as well for a couple of years now. It's not that hard to create a blonde based snakeskin endler. Basiaclly, I do lke the blonde based more than the grey based ones. But I do have both overhere...

Nice. Awaiting your updates.
This would be very cool if you'd be able to make a steady endler hybrid strain out of this. A full snakesin pattern with just a top sword as a endler hybrid version is something I just don't have swimming overhere. But I would be interested in such. Keep us posted about this project. I'm really interested...
But what I do have overhere is a poecilia reticulata with topsword and full snakeskin pattern in both grey and blonde based.

The latest development is I have finally 2 males with longer and nicer top swords now. Please excuse the not so perfect attached picture. Could not get any on the blonde line as yet but I am quite satisfied with the results.
Well, they look great though...

Thank you Stan! Would like to have the blonde version soon
Have not been posting much as I am now max out on my attachment memory. Had to resort to delete some old pics to free up some space.
Here's a pic of a blonde snakeskin that I managed to breed out. Next step is to get a top sword in blonde
