You can check out the list of anubias plants and their variants available at mizuworld.com (it a local online aquarium shop):

    http://mizuworld.com/product/search/anubias/

Note that there are 3 pages of them, do have a look though all the selections.

Their prices are usually higher than at LFS, but they do offer local postal delivery, so it can save you the hassle of traveling around the island trying to find places which stock the exact ones you want (especially the rarer, more expensive variants).

do take note of the charges first (if you have not), dont be too hurry to jump in haha (because the basic delivery and handling fees might shock you a little) cheers

You can check at most of the popular LFS that stock aquarium plants (ie. C328, Seaview etc), they usually have the common anubias nana which are around $3-$5 a pot (depending on the size). There are also the anubias petite versions which are usually around $7+ a pot. Sometimes the coffefolia or coin versions also pop up from time to time, usually around $7-$10+ a pot (depending on the size and availability).

The other versions you really have to search around, some of the variants shown at mizuworld.com i've not seen at LFS before, so if you are looking for those, just have to shop around to find them.

Its all a matter of time/cost vs convenience.

Convenience I don't mind, I won't mind going around Singapore to get but cost is the most important to me. Species isn't important as well, just looking for rather big leaf type of Anubias. Will definitely go to Seaview and find thanks

    Re: Anubias List 2015

the price add up more or less the same. for example $5 a pot, your transport to and fro probably around $3 plus, so effectively its about $8-9 a pot end of day hehe they do have the common bigger leaf species. usually those tied on driftwood wrapped in clear plastic bags. like what urban mentioned, normal ones like golden nana is $3 a pot, petite is $7.50 a pot. You won't really see anything inbetween. Their average market rates is more or less the same everywhere. Y618 has some common smaller bag of packed anubias on small piece of driftwood i think should be $3 or $5 ? You can check with the auntie. For those bigger leaf species (lancelota, hastifolia, heterophylla, afzeli, Augustfolia, coffeefolia, broad-leaf) very hard to see at most lfs. You will need to maybe order from mizuworld or greenchapter. Definitely more than $5 good luck in your findings

i think those common java fern sword-like and lace-type can easily get at lfs for $1.50-$2.50 a bag with a piece of small wood usually. Im not an expert with anubias but there are various species and i think barteri big or small doesn't quite pinpoint the exact species you are getting though. But if you are happy with the plants and pricing, then all is good happy planting, hope you can grow them well too, quite a fun journey
