Dear all

Noticed that my platies always have this habit of going to the front of the substrate and wriggle strongly and thus pushing the substrate to the back resulting in my newly planted Monte Carlo being uprooted.

No they are not scratching their bodies against the front of the tank surface as they are usually facing the front of the tank while doing the above stirring.

Is this a common behaviour as I have to replant and rearrange the substrate every single day and the Monte Carlo is slow in rooting due to that.
