    Dear friends,

I'm starting a 2ft tank with the intention of keeping CRS.

I have already bought a Sicce Whale 200 & Hailea HC 100A. I plan to install CO2 inline atomiser.

At the moment, the tank is going through DSM (Monte Carlo in ADA Amazonia) for the past 2 weeks.

    Orientation of the tank:

    (1) I have an overlooking rock at the centre-right of the tank.
(2)There is a gentle hill / slope at the back-right of the tank.

Based on past experience, the slope could be "flattened" due to water flow. After reading about how lily pipes create optimal circular flow in a tank, I'm hoping to mimic that flow.

I have a few setup possibilities and would like to hear fellow friends' advice.

Option 1: Default recommendation by Sicce Brochure

Don't think this is optimal as the rock could be blocking the water flow.

    Option 2:
I'm learning towards this set up. The slope would not be in directly in the outlet flow.

    Option 3:

Putting the inlet and outlet at the left side gives me more space to work. However, I'm concerned the slope would be levelled.

The Sicce outlet could be angled diagonally. However, would there be a suggested direction?

If you want to retain the slight slope, then option 2 would be the configuration to go for.

Btw, you can cut the intake pipe length shorter (or just position it abit higher) so that it's not so close to the substrate where it may suck up the plants in that area.
