All other items not here yet, so I placed my chiller mock up into my cabinet.
Seems like a bad idea, probably will still keep it there but removing the cabinet doors and get a piece of black netting to replace the doors instead.

I would like to ask if chiller maintenance is frequent (scrub the hose, wash filter )? I want to gauge the excess amount of wires to spare , install quick release taps (using 2036)

The chiller and its hoses will accumulate mulm and algae at the same speed as your canister filter and filter hoses, so thats a gauge on how frequently you'll have to clean it to maintain good flow (usually you'll clean both the filter and chiller at the same time).

cleaning chiller very tough though, because there is no opening . wonder how you guys clean the chiller? I normally pour clorox and rinse properly but I wonder if I'm too excessive .

I guess the hose still doable with some of those taps
but do you guys do anything to the inlet and outlet of the chiller? And also the tanks inside ?

and may I ask is it necessary to get clips to hold the hose onto the inlet and outlet on the chiller ?

That chiller is placed outside, mine is inside the hall, just beside the tank itself.
