    1) I'm using a Atman 3335, with a flowrate of 600L/hour. Is this flowrate good enough for a DIY external reactor like the one below?

    2) I'm planning to do it this way. Can all the parts be found in places like your neighbourhood hardware shop?

    Thanks guys

shldnt pose any problems. I prefer a clear transparent container.. which makes it possible to allow me to see what's happen in the reactor. But that just me

There is Clear PVC tube just not available in SG. There are different dia. of clear acrylic tube available go to dawa in ubi and get what you want.

Add a difusser disc in the tube it helps to dissolve the CO2 in the water.
Reducing the height between and the filter increase the pump power. It should be able to drive it.

I'll try to document the process. Just got the 2" PVC tube today at my local hardware shop. Just only that, I have to find the rest of the tubes elsewhere.

The thing that concerns me most is the flow rate strength, as my fliter is a Atman, and I don't really think I can trust it on it's stated 600L/h flowrate. Will having that flowrate work? Or does it depend on bubble count too?
