    Right for the question: Can CaNO3 be used in aquaria?
    or will the calium be to high?

    Calcilm nitrate Ca(NO3)2 has more NO3 than appreciable amounts of Ca.
    Fish food, our tap water, sea-shells, egg-shells, coral chips should be an easier source of Ca.

    The idea was to use it instead of KNO3, 'cause i cant really find KNO3...will that be possible if I dose K on its own?

    why can't you get kno3? just ask dr mallick/collect from mr fung at crawford st (after which you can go to plantas /aqua mart/bioplast/happy etc..)

    I cant get it since i live in denmark...pretty far away from dr mallick if I have understood it correctly

    Can you get stump removers in denmark? If you can, that's it. KNO3 for you.

    We have a hobbyist from India buying them from Dr Mallick. I believe if you email him, delivery can be arranged.

    If you can get Ca(NO3)2, then you got your NO3.
    If you can't find K, can try your supermarket and look for low-salt alternatives. Usually they are KCL.

    Can ask your plant nurseries? I am sure they have such most of such stuff.

    So I can use it... awesome!
    But I'll try find KNO3...just to be safe

    Juggler: Nope have not visited Tropica yet, its about 200km from here, but as soon as I have the time, maybe I'll go for a visit

    Not sure if they even have a real shop or just alot of greenhouses haha...
