It could be due to stress and/or injuries during netting, packing and transport. Gradual acclimation can help improve survival rates, but the weaker ones will still die while the stronger ones survive.
If 1-2 out of 10 die during the first day, you could pin those deaths to stress from transition, the important thing is how well the rest adapt the the new tank conditions over the next few days.
