    If you budget allows, I would suggest you get a CL450!
    Save on bills in the long run and if you have plans for future upgrades, can keep the chiller!

    25 is quite hard to reach for you 3ft with CL280 i guess, the light watts did play a minor role here, I m refering to the amount of water ... while chilling, your light also increase the temp a bit ... and i guess your chiller will run for few hrs than kick in within 30 mins...

    I personally scare to see chiller run for long hrs as electric = $$

    Have you thinking in few months time when hot season come than you will not get 27.5 i guess...I place my 3ft near window (windy) than sometime temp reach 26 without fan & chiller.

    get a 2nd hand if you got budget issue, price only a little bit different i guess. If you spend less on chiller than pay more on bill than in long run you're making big lost investment.
