Advise on Eheim Filter issue.

Hi, my Eheim 2028 filter have been splitting out air bubbles. Could it be the sealing gasket that is causing this this problem?
May I know where can I purchase the gasket? The filter have been running for about 6 years now.

I doubt its the main big seal gasket between the lid & body as water will leak out if its bad.

If its air bubbles (not water leaking out), its likely due to the o-ring around the primer button. I had this spitting out air bubbles issue before but resolved it.
The 2028 is prone to 'stiff' priming button because of gunk around the O-ring. At times, it does not slide smoothly & may leave a gap causing bubbles.

You can try cleaning it & re-lubricating it with vaseline.
Else a new O-ring should be available at C328.
