Plants folding their leaves near end of photo period

My lights on starts at 3pm and ends at 12 midnight; 9hrs. I noticed that some of my plants actually fold their leaves upwards around 10pm. Does that means that they have enough photosynthesis(jia bao liao)? Should I lights off during this time? Anyone else observe this in their plants?

    TIA

I've read that some plants exhibit some sort of circadian rhythm, they somehow know that it's night time (even when the aquarium lights are still on), so they instinctively close up. It's probably already "programmed" into the plant DNA over millions of years of evolution in the wild.

Not sure if they still continue photosynthesis activity when the leaves close up though... i guess one of the ways is to watch if their leaves are still pearling, that could be a sight they are still working.

Not sure about photosynthesis though, I believe the plants are tuned to your light period. Like my Pinnatifida will also close up when nearing my light off period and starts to open up about 1-2 hours before my light on. Pretty amazing.
